All employees of Simluc Contractors Limited, including the management and the administrative staff, are committed to ensuring health & safety in the workplace.
Simluc Contractors Ltd. will take every reasonable precaution in order to realize each worker's right to work in a safe and healthy environment. Before beginning their employment, all management, workers, contractors, and sub-contractors will undergo an orientation conducted by Simluc Contractors Ltd. Furthermore, as a means to reinforce safety within the workplace, Simluc will continue with its Health and Safety Program, safety training, weekly and monthly inspections, and quarterly Health & Safety Committee meetings.
All workers will follow the requirements laid out under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Construction Regulations, as well as the Company's established safety practices, policies and procedures.
Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of their workers. If any worker should violate the Act, a disciplinary action notice will be issued by Simluc Contractors Ltd., which could lead to the possibility of dismissal.
Protection of workers against injury and occupational disease is an ongoing effort. Managers and workers alike are responsible for health and safety. Our goal is to be successful in establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
